蕭偉雄先生現職新加坡駐台北商務辦事處副代表。抵台履新前，蕭先生擔任新加坡外交部東北亞司副司長。2019 至2021年間，蕭先生被任命為新加坡外交部長維文的特別助理。此外，於2016 至2019年，蕭先生派任新加坡駐美國大使館擔任一等秘書 (政治)，主要協助的業務涵蓋新加坡與美國雙邊關係及區域事務，同時也擔任國會聯繫的負責主管。
於新加坡外交部，蕭先生曾任東南亞司 (印尼事務) 副司長， 東南亞司 (泰國、緬甸、菲律賓事務) 負責官員，及美洲司 (北美事務) 官員。
蕭先生於英國牛津大學取得哲學、政治及經濟 (PPE) 學程學士學位，並於中國北京大學取得國際關係碩士學位。
Timothy Seow is Deputy Trade Representative at the Singapore Trade Office in Taipei. Prior to this, Timothy was Deputy Director in the Northeast Asia Directorate of the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Timothy was previously Special Assistant to the Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan from 2019 to 2021 and also served as First Secretary (Political) at the Singapore Embassy in Washington, DC from 2016 to 2019, where he handled bilateral and regional issues, and was also head of Congressional Outreach.
At the ministry, Timothy has also served as Deputy Director in the Southeast Asia I Directorate (Indonesia), Country Officer in the Southeast Asia II Directorate (Thailand, Myanmar, and Philippines), and Country Officer in the Americas Directorate (North America). Timothy graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford and an M.A. in International Relations from Peking University.
